goDaddy.com Client (automatic update IP address on DNS record)

This article is about how automatically update DNS record on godaddy. Substitution of their non existent API.

Here you can  download BETA version of GoDaddy DDNS client.


  1. Make sure JAVA installed on computer your going to run this application: Check it with "java -version" command
  2. Make sure you unzip the file
  3. Modify  client.properties file  including domain names you want to be updated your credentials and delay 
  4. run the run.bat (for Windows ) run.sh for (Linux make sure you gave run permissions to that file) 
  5. (first time the application going to register itself  and will ask to rerun it) 
  6. run it again and enjoy (this is the best case scenario)

  4. I have the same expiry notice, but guess I expected that. Any updates to this? Why does it expire to begin with? Seemed like a nice tool if it works.
